Here is our list of top 10 exercises moms and dads that don’t involve taking you away from your little one.

1. Pacing Workouts

What is that one thing every parent often does when trying to calm a newborn? It’s pacing around up and down, and guess what you can do a workout out of it.

Obviously, you don’t want to disturb your little one if they are peacefully sleeping, but if they are awake pace around the house holding them. You could also walk around performing lunges or arm raises., as your little one sleeps peacefully in their cot.

Some of the other ideal pacing workouts include walking lunges, hop squats, and walking kicks.

2. Doorknob Squats

How many times do you go to check on your baby while they sleep? Turn it into a workout by getting some doorknob squats done.

Every time you check up on your young one, do about five to ten doorknob squats. Work on increasing the number of doorknob squats you do each day, and you will soon be getting a great workout out of it.

3. Baby Bridges

Toddlers need a bit of entertaining, and you could kill two birds with one stone by doing ‘baby bridges.’

Baby bridges are essentially bridge workouts, only that you hold your child and lift them up every time you lift up into a bridge. Obviously, safety is paramount, and this exercise can be performed only by the mom and dad who have already been exercising for a while and built their core strength.

Investment Opportunities in Serviced Accommodation

This type of company is generally a disruptive business. The Ford Model T revolutionised the car industry; Dyson did the same for the vacuum cleaner; Amazon took advantage of the Internet to change the way we purchased books all sorts of other products; and now AirBnB have made it simple to book accommodation not in hotels but in people’s homes.

Who does not like to be nosy by looking at how other people live and how their homes reflect their lifestyle and personal taste in home decor and furnishings? It seems therefore that AirBnB really did hit the sweet spot.

While most people will have stayed in a hotel at sometime in their life, they now accept that there are alternative accommodations. The term “serviced accommodation” relates to property that delivers somewhere to eat and sleep but in a property that offers the much more than a conventional hotel by including a fully fitted kitchen, a lounge area in which to relax and additional bedrooms for the rest of the family all within one property that will offer a “home from home” experience.

They have raised the bar so this type of accommodation is now what most people when traveling for both business and pleasure want to stay in. They want somewhere that is flexible so they can stay for a night, or longer; and where they can enjoy spacious accommodation, home comforts, the opportunity to cook a meal to save the cost of eating out at a restaurant; the chance to catch up on their washing and above all, the opportunity to share their experiences with the host, as and when they are resident.

The other contributor to the success of serviced accommodation has been technology. Without this it would not have been possible for the model to gain traction and therefore attract hosts to register their properties, at the speed they have.

Guests have benefited too by having the power and speed to locate properties at the click of a button, possibly for booking on demand; having a friendly person to communicate with throughout the booking process; and having peace of mind, knowing that previous guests have written reviews to say how wonderful the host and property was.

It seems that now travelers have experienced AirBnB, and other online travel websites, as leisure guests they are now insisting that their employers allow them to use the same option for their business travel.

This market is therefore expanding at rapid rate. Research suggests that there are now about 750,000 serviced apartments worldwide – an increase of 80% in just 8 years. In the UK, serviced accommodation supply is expected to grow by 8% in the two years leading up to 2017, outstripping the growth of hotels at 6% according to research performed by Savills, the estate agent.

While supply has increase so has demand. It seems that over 36 million overseas visitors came to Britain in 2015 – an increase of 50% over the previous 12 years. The number …

The Meaning of Rooster Decor

When morning comes, a refreshing cock’s crow wakes us up. This tells us it is time for a new day. An alert sounding signal coming from this animal only means there are many things to do. This animal is the rooster. It is believed that the rooster symbolizes a flamboyant, feisty and obstinate personality. It is also a representation of courage, hard work and, most of all, descent. Because of this, the tradition of creating a replica of this fowl began. This was also the start of people making rooster-shaped home decor.

Rooster figurines have many uses today and most of have something to do with adorning various areas around a home from the living room to the kitchen. Rooster napkin holders, in particular, are commonly found in avian or farm-themed restaurants. The rooster design of the figurines represents meaning and each has its purpose. Figurines and items as such are unique and are seldom found in shops and boutiques. In fact, some are even made-to-order.

The design of rooster home decor comes in varieties but everything may be incorporated into different themes during the different months and seasons of the year. These items can either be made of metal, ceramic, plastic, glass, or even raw materials such as wood. The more attractive and effective the design is in illustrating the essence of a rooster, the more salable it is. Replicas of this avian can be traditional or modern- and it all depends on the inspiration of the artist creating them.

Rooster decor is best manufactured in areas where a good type of material is available. People know that aside from the design, the material used determines the quality of the product. However, with the wide availability of transportation today, materials from different places can easily be imported. This is why manufacturers have also widened their market as they are very confident about the quality of their finished products. Rest-assured, these items will last a long time because they are durability-tested before being distributed.

So what are you waiting for? It is never too late to start collecting rooster figurines. With the durable quality and the variety of designs available, it is all up to you to make collecting them a hobby. You will have a whole array of choices in terms of materials used and design concepts. If you want to be reminded of the ideals the rooster stands for, have them at home or in your office and start living its spirit.…

Fashion Do’s and Don’ts When House Hunting

Mark Nash author of 1001 Tips for Buying and Selling a Home offers homebuyers fashion home runs and strikeouts when shopping for a home. It might not be obvious that what you wear when house hunting can impact what you pay for a home. Years of showing homes and introducing prospective buyers to home sellers, the way buyers project themselves fashion-wise makes a big impression.

First impressions by real estate agents and home sellers are all they have when assessing potential buyers. If you appear well-groomed, under-stated and wear home price-range-appropriate clothes you could pay less than the tattooed, big-hair, over-jeweled and torn-blue jean buyer your in competition with in multiple-offers for the same home. Buying a home is a business transaction, think business wear when shopping for a home.

Women

-Pants are fine, but make sure they’re not low riders.

-Ditch the tee shirts, tank and tube tops. House hunting is not a vacation.

-Skirts are great. Minis send the wrong message.

-Wear comfortable but presentable shoes. You will be doing a lot of walking, climbing up stairs and in and out of transportation.

-Forget high-heels. Spiked heels on shoes can easily dent bamboo and other softer wood floors. Plus if you got into the yard to take a look at the roof you might end up aerating the lawn.

-Leave the animal prints for when you’re out to a nightclub. Busy or fussy fashion looks can be distracting and not on everyone’s top ten fashion list.

-Simple jewelry and limited amounts accent your business perspective. Omit the” bling” otherwise you might end up paying more for a home, because the sellers think you can afford it.

-Simplify make-up, hair and manicure styles to appeal to the majority of people. You’re not going to get a better deal because the sellers love your fabulous acrylic nails.

-No fur coats, ever. It’s a political and extravagant statement that could cost you a home or an additional $10,000.

-No low cut or revealing looks. Very rarely do homebuyers get a discount for sex.

Men

-Verify shoe soles aren’t caked with mud before you enter any open house. Many a homebuyer never made it to the kitchen after walking across freshly cleaned carpet with dirty shoes.

-No jogging, gym-wear, bike shorts or swimsuits. Unless, you’re testing the workout facilities in a condominium building on your second visit.

-Business-casual pants are best, but if you must wear jeans, make sure they’re clean and not ripped.

-Open collar shirts work fine, but realty agents and home sellers don’t need to see your buffed or not so buffed chest or four gold chains.

-Think twice about sporting more than one earring. If we were all the same life would be boring.

-Omit muscle and tee shirts and no underwear elastic waistbands displayed please. You might turn Ms. home seller on, but Mr. home seller might not appreciate it.

-Limit tattoo exposure, they’re the rage, but not for everyone. Ditto the ladies on this one.

-Wear …

Disguising Your Oil Tank in the Garden

Domestic heating oil tanks are essential for many properties, especially rural homes, as they are used to store the oil needed to heat their homes. Regardless of their necessity, heating oil tanks aren’t the most attractive of objects to have in your garden.

As well as making your tank more aesthetically pleasing, disguising your tank can also help to prevent oil thefts.

Here are a couple of tips on how to disguise your oil tank:

  • Build a shed around your heating oil tank. The shed will need to have large doors so that the entire tank can fit through, in case the tank needs replacing, and preferably not be of a wood construction in the event of a fire. The tank also needs to be well lit and easily accessible for filling, including sufficient roof height. Making the shed bigger than required for the tank will also ensure there is enough ventilation around the tank.
  • Put a trellis fence around your oil tank. Trellis is a great way to disguise a tank and can be incorporated with your garden theme and colours. Make sure you have a gate or entrance on one side so that the tank is easily accessible for filling and maintenance. You could even cover the trellis with hanging vines to create even more of a disguise.
  • Build a wall around your domestic oil tank. Using concrete blocks or cement you could build a wall around your oil tank, but be sure to leave plenty of space for ventilation around the tank. Be sure not to block the tank in as it’ll need to be accessible for the driver to inspect before his delivery and for filling and maintenance. Once the wall is in place, you can decorate the area with plants; however these you will need to move these out of the way before your delivery is made to ensure that there are no hazards to your delivery driver. Potted plants would need to be moved before the delivery. If any plants are put in permanently, they need to not be of a height that would impede the delivery, and not have thorns that would cause injury to the driver during the delivery.
  • Surround the tank with tall plants. You’ll need to leave adequate space around the tank, but plants and bushes such as holly and boxwood provide good coverage when they are fully grown. Grasses such as pampas grass are also quite popular as they don’t take long to grow. Pots in plants would need to be moved before the delivery.
  • Get creative. If you’re feeling particularly creative you could choose to paint your oil tank – although done poorly you could attract even more attention to it! We’ve seen everything from Dougal (the Magic Roundabout Character) to giant watermelons and marrows, to Thomas the Tank Engine!

Whatever disguise you opt for, accessibility and safety is key. Let us know your favourite option below.…

Benefits of Working With Cash for House Companies to Sell Your House

You may plan to sell your house for buying a new house when your current house becomes too small for your growing family or you may have inherited an additional house property, or your dream job requires you to move to another city or a different state. Well, in any of these situations you need to sell your house, cash for house offers are possible with home buyers.

Cash for house companies are emerging as a viable option for homeowners looking to sell their homes “As Is”. The traditional real estate agents would require homeowners to make necessary repairs and renovations so they can start the sale process. Realtors being intermediaries only help you find a potential buyer for your house, by listing your property on their property website. Therefore, before they list your house on their website they want to make sure that your house is in a good condition structurally and in terms of regulatory issues.

On the other hand, cash for house companies buy houses ‘As Is’ meaning you don’t have to renovate or repair. These companies have huge cash reserves, which helps them buy houses in bulk and with the help of the nationwide home improvement experts, they will have these houses renovated. As they offer bulk contracts to home remodelers, these companies get huge discounts and will have these homes repaired and renovated at almost half the retail costs, an average homeowner would spend to have such repairs done.

Well, you may have inherited a house from your parents or relatives who currently cannot live there or maintenance is high, and the house may suffer many functional issues, even it may be involved in regulatory issues such as taxes, etc. cash for houses will still make a quick offer. These professional organizations have the knowledge and the ability to resolve not just the functional issues, but can also help these houses with the regulatory issues.

Therefore, when you decide to work with cash for house companies you need not worry about the functional repairs, or the regulatory issues the house may face. Moreover, these companies do not require you to stage the house, as they make a quick one-time inspection, before they make an offer. Finally, you get a competitive price and will not have to pay additional commissions or fees, as in the case of traditional real estate companies, which will charge you a fee for helping you find a buyer for your house.

Well, if you have an additional house property that you have inherited or a house that is facing foreclosure, or you in a tight financial spot contact cash for house companies. Make sure you work with a company that works out of a professional office set up, has over 15 years of experience and has purchased more than 1300 houses!…

Home Decor – Family With Dogs

We were finally ready for a dog in our home. We researched different breeds to match our lifestyle. We both wanted a big dog with a gentle disposition, and, as we looked through the pictures of the different breeds, one caught our attention. Bernese Mountain Dogs are beautiful, big and sweet-natured. This was what our new “baby” was to be! After meeting with the breeder, and a bit of a wait, we brought home our little fella, Dante.

We were very happy to have a vinyl kitchen floor during potty training. Although he was quick to learn, he was after all a puppy. Vinyl floors are durable and very easy to keep clean. This was also a blessing because Dante had no idea how to wipe his feet during the rainy summer days.

We also learned that baby gates were not just for human babies. Because the rest of the house had mostly carpeting, we felt a gate was just what was needed. This saved on a lot of extra carpet cleaning, which is not my favorite chore.

For the first several months I wondered why everyone talked so much about this breed shedding so much. I hadn’t noticed much at all. Well, as our cute little fluff ball grew, and he gained about ten pounds a month, I began to notice a little change in that situation. Little by little there began to be little fluffy tumbleweeds in the corners of his domain. Soon the little fluffy fur balls were requiring daily broom attention. Eventually it became obvious that a vacuum was the only way to keep those floating clouds of fur from outrunning my broom. First I tried a little cleaning upright vacuum. Just charge it up and go! Only I found that I could empty the canister several times before I was done and the charge was gone before the fur was.

Well, if that little upright was not working out for me, I decided to move on to my old faithful canister vacuum that had disposable bags and an electric cord. It was great! There was no recharging mid-job, the bag could hold all the fur that puppy of ours could shed. I still had to make use of it daily, but it worked like a charm. Dante didn’t mind the noise, and didn’t chew the cord. He didn’t even seem to wonder where his fur was going. I didn’t mind his shedding since I had figured out an effective remedy for the flying fur. Somewhere in the back of my mind I may have thought “What was it they said about going through a vacuum every year or two?”…

Masturbation at the Office: How to Do (and Not Do) It

When a man is in the mood for a little masturbation, he likes to be able to indulge himself freely – something that may not be very possible when he’s at the office. Of course, if a man works alone at home, there may be little in the way of dropping trousers and indulging in a quick (or lengthy) fap. But if he works with others, personalized and hands-on penis care may require a bit more planning.

As with everything, there’s a right way and a wrong way to approach masturbation while at work. The following tips can help a man gain release and relief in a manner that is more appropriate than simply whipping it out and going to town.

The men’s room. Use it.

In most cases, the best (and safest) way for a guy to masturbate at the office is to excuse himself, head to the bathroom and wait until behind a locked stall door to begin fondling. In addition to granting a man privacy, he has toilet paper right at hand to wipe the semen-spattered hand (and clean up the floor, as may be the case). However, it’s good to remember that a bathroom stall does not guarantee total privacy. Enthusiastic masturbation carries with it strong sounds (usually associated with panting and rubbing) which can “give the game away” to anyone else who happens to be in the room at the time. So keeping it quiet is advised. If a man tends to moan and groan loudly when he ejaculates, he needs to be sure he is totally alone before indulging.

Some men enjoy masturbating at the urinal, but there is clearly less privacy associated with this option. In addition, if a man ejaculates at the urinal just as another man enters, he has little opportunity to wipe away the ejaculate without being noticed.

A reminder: many men get very flushed while masturbating. For such men, allowing a few minutes after orgasm to let the redness leave their faces is a good idea before returning to work.

At the desk

Some men opt to masturbate directly at their desks. Unless a man has his own office with a door that can be locked, this is generally very risky behavior. Even if a guy is working late at night and is sure he is the only person around, he might still get surprised with his manhood in his hands by a member of the janitorial staff.

Even with a locked door, desk-based masturbation can be a bad idea. For those who indulge, they should do so in a fashion that makes recovery as quick as possible. For example, don’t strip naked; simply unzip and handle. This makes it easier to prepare oneself if there is an unexpected knock at the door.

Computer care

If a man fancies online pornography while masturbating, it’s important to remember that most bosses have some means of monitoring what websites are visited on company computers. Just because a company firewall allows a …
